Exploring Veterans Benefits - Free Workshop

A veteran, their spouse, dependent or survivor may be eligible for VA health care benefits. Enrolling in these programs may reduce or eliminate costs for medical supplies, office visits or prescriptions. Find out what benefits are available to you and how to access them from Mike Smith, a representative of the Veterans Service Office with the Missouri Veterans Commission.

Brave moments during quilt of valor ceremony

Three of our residents were honored with Quilts of Valor from Barb Huddleston with the Daughters of American Revolution and Historical Society. Charles Benson, Jack McBride, and Carl Rues all received hand-made patriotic quilts in recognition of their military service. Charles gave a word of thanks and Carl had the audience chuckling when he called his military experience, "interesting."
