New role suits employee

In honor of International Housekeeping Week Sept. 8-14, Fulton Presbyterian Manor would like to recognize Julie LaRue, who recently transferred from the dining services department to housekeeping services.

“She is doing an awesome job so far!” said Tresa Allen, marketing director.

Julie has worked at Fulton Presbyterian Manor for a little over two years and changed departments around the first of July.

She said she elected to make the move because she wanted to build skills in another area of care.

It’s been a good change.

“I get to see the residents more and visit with them more often,” she said.

Housekeeping is a perfect match for Julie, who takes pride in a job well done.

“I like for things to be clean,” she said.

When it comes to her job, Julie believes in working smarter, not harder.

What keeps her motivated?

“My family really more than anything,” she said. “My grandbabies.”
