Our Leadership Team

The day-to-day operation of Fulton Presbyterian Manor is led by dedicated professionals who bring a wealth of experience and specialized expertise to their positions. As employees of Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America, our promise to you is to live our mission by:

Dawn Smith, Executive Director

Dawn joined Fulton Presbyterian Manor in September 2011. She earned her bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix. She previously had served as assistant administrator at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa, Kansas. Dawn has more than 16 years of long-term care experience. She was named the Missouri Healthcare Association District I administrator of the year in 2007. She is a member of the Fulton Rotary Club and previously served as president, District I, Missouri Healthcare Association.


Keri Edwards, Marketing Director and Finance Director

Keri joined Fulton Presbyterian Manor in March 2011 as accounting assistant, and she continues to serve in that role in addition to her duties as human resources director. Her previous experience includes four years as sales administrator for All-Temp Refrigeration. Keri is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.


Donna Hunter, Social Services Director

Donna joined Fulton Presbyterian Manor in August 2006. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in business management/computer specialist from Metro Business College, Jefferson City, Missouri. Prior to joining Presbyterian Manor, Donna worked as summer programs/work control coordinator at Westminster College in Fulton. She also has served as activities director and social service designee at Riverview Nursing Center in Mokane, Missouri. Donna has worked as a volunteer with the child and youth program for the Missouri National Guard. She enjoys traveling, reading and being outdoors.


Lowe Cannell, Environmental Services Director

Lowe joined Fulton Presbyterian Manor in October 2014. He was maintenance supervisor at FRDC in Fulton prior to joining Presbyterian Manor. He has worked in heating and air conditioning since 1989, and has owned his own heating and air conditioning business twice. He attended the University of Missouri at Columbia and has certifications in universal refrigeration and as a master mechanic. He is active in the Fulton community, serving on the city council and previously serving as deputy mayor and a member of the Parks and Recreation board. He also served on the school board for Kingdom Christian Academy for four years.


Mary B. Boyd, Activity Director

Mary joined the Fulton Presbyterian Manor team in March 2009 as an activity assistant. She was named activity director in July 2015. She previously worked at Boyd & Boyd Abstract and Title Company as a title researcher and The Callaway Bank as a teller and customer service representative. She is a Missouri Certified Activity Director. She’s a member of the Mokane Christian Church and served on the Callway County Fair board.


John DeBrodie, Human Resource Director

John joined Fulton Presbyterian Manor in April 2015 as a floor tech and was named human resource director in December 2015. He worked for B&B Theatres in Warrenton in management and at the Medical Examiner’s Office and Mortuary before joining the Presbyterian Manor team.


Bessie Boese, MDS Coordinator

Bessie was named minimum data set (MDS) coordinator in July 2017. She has worked at Presbyterian Manor since April 2005. She has worked as an evening charge LPN, a daytime charge LPN, and was the medical records unit coordinator from September 2013 until taking the MDS role in July 2017. She attended Nichols Career Center for her LPN and is attending school to become a registered nurse. She is secretary and on the board of directors for the Triple C Foundation.
