Our Leadership Team

The day-to-day operation of Fulton Presbyterian Manor is led by dedicated professionals who bring a wealth of experience and specialized expertise to their positions. As employees of Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America, our promise to you is to live our mission by:

Smith-dawn

Dawn Smith, Executive Director

Dawn joined Fulton Presbyterian Manor in September 2011. She earned her bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix. She previously had served as assistant administrator at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa, Kansas. Dawn has more than 16 years of long-term care experience. She was named the Missouri Healthcare Association District I administrator of the year in 2007. She is a member of the Fulton Rotary Club and previously served as president, District I, Missouri Healthcare Association.

Hunter-donna

Donna Hunter, Social Services Director

Donna joined Fulton Presbyterian Manor in August 2006. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in business management/computer specialist from Metro Business College, Jefferson City, Missouri. Prior to joining Presbyterian Manor, Donna worked as summer programs/work control coordinator at Westminster College in Fulton. She also has served as activities director and social service designee at Riverview Nursing Center in Mokane, Missouri. Donna has worked as a volunteer with the child and youth program for the Missouri National Guard. She enjoys traveling, reading and being outdoors.

Cannell-lowell

Lowe Cannell, Environmental Services Director

Lowe joined Fulton Presbyterian Manor in October 2014. He was maintenance supervisor at FRDC in Fulton prior to joining Presbyterian Manor. He has worked in heating and air conditioning since 1989, and has owned his own heating and air conditioning business twice. He attended the University of Missouri at Columbia and has certifications in universal refrigeration and as a master mechanic. He is active in the Fulton community, serving on the city council and previously serving as deputy mayor and a member of the Parks and Recreation board. He also served on the school board for Kingdom Christian Academy for four years.

Boese-bessie-asset

Bessie Boese, MDS Coordinator

Bessie was named minimum data set (MDS) coordinator in July 2017. She has worked at Presbyterian Manor since April 2005. She has worked as an evening charge LPN, a daytime charge LPN, and was the medical records unit coordinator from September 2013 until taking the MDS role in July 2017. She attended Nichols Career Center for her LPN and is attending school to become a registered nurse. She is secretary and on the board of directors for the Triple C Foundation.

Charles “Chas” Cramer, Dining Services Director

Chas joined Presbyterian Manor in January 2018. He has more than 20 years of experience in the health care food service industry. He has been a certified dietary manager since 1999. He participates in the Missouri Relay for Life and Toys for Tots, and he actively supports a number of local non-profits.

Kellie Starling, Life Enrichment Coordinator

Kellie started at Presbyterian Manor in November 2018, but if she looks familiar, it’s because she’s worked at our community before. She’s been a CMA since 1985, and a CNA since 2012. Kellie took a brief break from full time work to care for her grandchildren. When it was time to return to the workforce, she chose Presbyterian Manor.

Bonnie Russell, HR/Office Manager

Bonnie was named human resource and office manager in September 2018. She started as the administrative assistant part-time in 2016. Bonnie worked for 26 years in the Missouri Department of Agriculture. She also worked in advertising, training and human resource management for K-mart. She is a member of the VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary and held several leadership positions with the Boy Scouts of America.

Tresa Allen, Marketing & Sales/Social Services Director

Tresa joined Presbyterian Manor in June 2018 as an evening shift LPN supervisor. Tresa has felt a connection with Fulton Presbyterian Manor and the organization since her mother worked with residents there nearly 39 years ago. She started her career in senior living 31 years ago as a CNA. She worked at Fulton State Hospital as a nurse. She felt called to serve patients in a different capacity, and enrolled in William Woods University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in social work. She followed that by obtaining a masters in social work at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. One of Tresa’s biggest accomplishments was developing the Psychosocial Rehabilitation program at New Horizons, which is still active today.
